Brett has had an active interest in Biblical Studies, especially Pauline Literature and hermeneutics for many years.
After studying Electrical Engineering and working as a Systems Engineer, Brett’s calling to minister as a Salvation Army officer lead him to theological study. After completing Salvation Army officer training he completed a Bachelor of Divinity through Melbourne College of Divinity and a Master of Theology through Sydney College of Divinity. Brett was awarded a Master of Theology with Honours from Charles Sturt University for his dissertation, “Standing a Cameron’s Corner with 1 Corinthians 9:19-23”.
Bret has taught a range of subject in the Biblical Studies discipline including Johannine Literature, Lukan Literature, Pauline Literature, Romans, Introduction to New Testament, Introduction to Biblical Languages and New Testament Greek A & B.
Currently Brett serves as the team leader of Salvation Army Representatives embedded in military units across the country, whilst also keeping an active interest in the current trends in New Testament Research.
