Brian Kolia is an Adjunct Lecturer at Pilgrim Theological College and a Tutor at Whitley College. He is a PhD Graduate from the University of Divinity (Whitley College). His dissertation deals with reading scepticism in the book of Ecclesiastes from a diasporic Australian-Samoan perspective.
He has published a number of book chapters and journal articles, more recently, he published an essay titled “Toil(ing) in Two Cultures: An Australian-Samoan Reading of Ecclesiastes 2:18-23.” In Reading Ecclesiastes in Asia and Pasifika, Edited by Jione Havea and Peter W. Lau (2020).
Brian taught for 3 years at Malua Theological College, and is currently teaching Introduction to the Old Testament at Trinity College Theological School.
Brian is also an ordained minister for the Congregational Christian Church Samoa, and is married to Tanaria with an 8 year old son, Elichai.
