Casey O’Brien Machado is an Adjunct Lecturer at Eva Burrows College, and was previously engaged in the same capacity at Booth College, Sydney. She has taught ‘Mission & Justice’ (Booth College) and ‘Globalisation, Spirituality & Justice’ (Eva Burrows College).
Casey is a practitioner who has ministered through The Salvation Army in various communities and capacities both locally and internationally, including at The Salvation Army’s International Social Justice Commission. She is currently a member of The Salvation Army’s International Moral and Social Issues Council, Australian Moral and Social Issues Council and works within The Salvation Army’s Policy, Research and Social Justice Department. Casey is passionate about bringing change to society, and hopes to inspire people to think “outside the box” with regard to seeing God’s Kingdom come in their local communities.
