Maj Dr Catherine Spiller

AdvDip SAM, BTheol, MTD, DMin

Course Advisor

Catherine has been a Salvation Army Officer since 2002 serving in a variety of appointments in Corps and Officer Formation. She loves journeying with people as they grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Catherine completed her training with The Salvation Army in 2001. She has since completed a Bachelor of Theology from Tabor College Victoria and a Master’s in Transformational Development from Eastern College Australia. She has recently completed her Doctor of Ministry from Abilene Christian University in Texas. Her thesis is titled “Liturgical Practices for Full Participation: Creating Opportunities for Engagement in Corporate Worship for People Living with Intellectual Disabilities at the Mooroolbark Salvation Army.”

Catherine is an active member of The Salvation Army Mooroolbark Corps where she attends with her family. She is passionate about providing opportunities for the whole church to engage in worship and service.
