Christine has been involved in academic leadership, administration and teaching at Eva Burrows College over several years. She is currently working on a PhD exploring the experience of Gender Equity in The Salvation Army. She has taught in the area of spirituality and on the history and theology of The Salvation Army in relation to spiritual formation. In 2010, she published Other Voices which explores the presence of the contemplative tradition in the history of The Salvation Army. She is also a qualified spiritual director and supervisor and continues to practice in those areas. Christine has been a Salvation Army officer for more than three decades and has had experience as a pastoral leader, administrator, retreat leader, and policy maker within that tradition.
