Rev. Dr Chris Mulherin is a lecturer at Catholic Theological College and a member of the Department of Philosophy. He is Executive Director of ISCAST–Christianity and Science in Conversation and an Anglican minister.
Chris holds a Bachelor of (Mechanical) Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne; a Bachelor of Divinity from the University of Divinity; a Graduate Certificate in Commercialisation from the Melbourne Business School; a Master of Science from the University of Melbourne, and a Doctorate of Theology from the University of Divinity.
Chris has taught in various Melbourne colleges and universities in engineering, history and philosophy of science, climate change, philosophy, and theology. At CTC he teaches in various philosophy units and coordinates An Introduction to Philosophy for Theology; Academic Writing, Critical Thinking and Logic; and Epistemology: Theories of Knowledge, Language, Interpretation and Logic.
Chris regularly engages with the media and speaks in schools and churches, mostly writing and speaking on matters of science and Christian faith. His book Science and Christianity: Understanding the Conflict Myth (Garratt, 2018) is used in schools and churches.
