Duncan Reid is an Anglican priest. He is currently head of Religious Education at Camberwell Girls Grammar School in Melbourne and an Honorary Research Associate at the Trinity College Theological School in the University of Divinity.
Duncan completed a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) at Monash Univerity and a Bachelor of Divinity (Hons) at Melbourne College of Divinity, before completing a doctorate at the University of Tübingen on Western and Eastern Orthodox understandings of the doctrine of the Trinity. He later completed a Master of Educational Management while working at Flinders University. His past positions have been Lecturer and Senior Lecturer at Flinders University for eleven years, including Head of the School of Theology there for three years, and Dean of the United Faculty of Theology Melbourne for four years.
Duncan has particular interests in Eastern Orthodox thought, and ecological theology. For fifteen years he was a member of the International Commission for Anglican – Orthodox Theological Dialogue, and prior to that he was a member of the General Synod Doctrine Commission of the Anglican Church of Australia. His research publications are listed at the University of Divinity Research Repository.
