Mr Jude Caspersz is Learning Support Coordinator and ARK Liaison Officer at Catholic Theological College. The role involves oversight of services to students with special needs and those utilising tutoring programs. He coordinates CTC’s Professional Development offerings for teachers seeking to gain/maintain accreditation to teach in a Catholic School.
His over 30 years in Catholic Education included positions in Alice Springs, Darwin and Melbourne, where, in addition to classroom teaching, he held roles of Principal, Deputy and leadership in curriculum coordination, religious education, student welfare and wellbeing.
He worked with the Catholic Identity/Religious Education Team at Catholic Education Melbourne where he was responsible for Religious Education accreditation and sponsored study for teachers in Catholic schools. He has taught Religious Education at ACU to pre-service and practising teachers.
At Catholic Theological College, he teaches Academic Writing and is on the teaching team for the annual Religious Education seminar for school teachers, “The Catholic Dialogue School”. He supervises students in the practical component of the Graduate Certificate in Teaching Meditation.
He supports teachers and schools in implementing his Christian meditation program and makes presentations to primary and secondary teachers and parent groups on sacraments, faith and theological issues.
