Kate is a registered clinical counsellor with a particular interest in trauma recovery. She works in her private practice, Doongalla Counselling, with adult clientele and is a facilitator for community training events. Kate has prior experience as a school counsellor (prep-12), in clinic-based work with neurodivergent young people, and in community mental health. She holds a B.A. in counselling and is currently completing her Master of Theological Studies with a focus on faith deconstruction and reconstruction. Kate authored “Trauma: A Virtues Perspective” in T. Edwards and C. Chiera (Eds.), Acting for Virtue. (Australian Academic Press – in press).
