Mary Reaburn is a Sister of Our Lady of Sion. She teaches Wisdom Literature, the Book of Daniel and Psalms.
Mary completed her D. Theol on the use of Psalms in St Jerome’s Commentary on the Book of Daniel. She has taught at YTU for more than 30 years. She assited in the Biblical formation Centre in Jerusalem from 2007 – 2014. She has also taught at Holy Trinity College in Harare, Zimbabwe, 2018 & 2020.
Mary’s research is especially to support her teaching and also her involvement in Jewish – Christian Relations, in Australia and to some extent internationally.
Mary is involved in teaching in parishes and to groups. She is on the Catholic Melbourne Archdiocese’s Ecumenical and Inter-Faith Commission and a member of Council of the Australian Catholic Bishops’ Conference for Ecumeniacl and Inter-Faith Encounters.
Mary is a member of the International Christology Team of the Sisters and Brothers of Notre Dame de Sion. She is a member of the Board of Our Lady of Sion College, Box Hill.
