Dr Maureen Saclot is the Registrar at the Catholic Theological College.
Maureen was awarded the Bachelor and Master of Arts in Communication Arts by the University of the Philippines Los Baños (Philippines). She was awarded a research scholarship in Okayama University (Japan) focusing on Phonetics. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching (Higher Education) from Swinburne University of Technology and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Linguistics from The University of Melbourne.
Maureen has extensive experience in tertiary education, particularly with students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and of management in tertiary education performing duties as a College Secretary and a Program Coordinator. Prior to her CTC Registrar role, she had been an ELICOS Coordinator and a Teacher Resourcing Coordinator at Monash College, which is a pathway subsidiary of Monash University.
Outside work, Maureen is actively involved in the parish ministry and liturgical music at St Brigid’s Parish North Fitzroy and a lay member of the I Thirst Movement (ITM) with the Missionaries of Charity.
