Meg manages events, communications and property across the University, supporting the Vice-Chancellor in the development of community and relationships of students, staff, alumni, and external stakeholders that can generate support for the University’s strategy and provide for its sustainability.
She is responsible for four key areas of activity: arranging major University events such as graduation ceremonies; oversight of key communication tools including University websites, social media, client relationship management, electronic communication; promotion of events and activities of the University and its Colleges; and management of the University’s building and venue operations at St Paschal’s precinct, including tenant and external client, supplier and vendor relations.
Meg completed a Bachelor of Music at Te Kōkī, New Zealand School of Music and Victoria University of Wellington in 2011. She specialised in instrumental and choral composition. Following the completion of her degree, Meg relocated to Melbourne where she sang with the Chapel Choir of Trinity College from 2011-2012. From 2012-2016, Meg was the Communications and Events Manager at St Paul’s Cathedral Melbourne, the metropolitan Cathedral Church of the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne and a major Melbourne landmark. She began at the University of Divinity in 2016 as the Events and Communications Manager, and expanded the role as Operations Manager in 2020.
Meg maintains a passion for choral music, performing regularly at churches around the CBD. She is a co-founder of Melbourne-based Chamber Choir, Polyphonic Voices, established in 2013.
