Father Paul Rowse, OP is a Catholic priest of the Dominican Order and teaches students about the New Testament at Catholic Theological College.
After completing institutional studies for the priesthood, he wrote a master’s thesis under Rev Prof Brendan Byrne, SJ, entitled: The Glory of the Human Person: The Resurrected Body in the Letter to the Romans (MTheol), Melbourne College of Divinity, 2011. He completed a doctoral thesis under Prof Markus Bockmuehl and Rev Prof Jennifer Strawbridge entitled Early Christian Readings of Paul on Moral Regeneration.
He is currently teaching students taking introductory units in New Testament at undergraduate and graduate level. He has previously taught students in various exegetical and philological units in New Testament.
Father Paul is Parish Priest of St Dominic’s Parish, Camberwell East. He is also National Chaplain of the Australian Catholic Students’ Association.
