Stephen has taught New Testament Greek at Whitley College since 2015. He was ordained as a Baptist pastor in 2010 and served in pastoral ministry in Baptist Union of Victoria churches from 2007–2025. He is currently Head of Community & Care at Waterman, leading community-building and chaplaincy initiatives across that network of co-working spaces. Stephen is also a PhD candidate with the University of Divinity (Whitley College), undertaking a comparative text-critical study of the Hebrew, Samaritan, and Greek texts of the rituals in Leviticus 1–7.
