Sunny teaches New Testament Greek at Pilgrim Theological College. He received his Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and doctorate from the University of Divinity. He is a Presbytery Minister in the Uniting Church, overseeing and supporting over 70 congregations in the Melbourne metropolitan area.

Passionate about education, he currently chairs the Theological and Ministerial Education Committee, which functions as the Ministerial Education Board, in part, providing governance for Pilgrim Theological College. His previous role was the Chaplaincy Coordinator at The University of Melbourne. He is currently the Council’s Vice President of Wesley College, and previously, a Council Member of Queen’s College at The University of Melbourne.
